Privacy Policy

This policy covers what happens to information collected through alithicai.com. It does not cover data handled by agents already deployed for clients — that is addressed separately in Section 2.
1. Information We Collect
Contact details you submit through the contact form — name, email, phone number, and whatever you write in the message field.
Conversations with the chat widget on this site, including what you type into it.
Usage data: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, referring site, browser and device type.
Cookies and similar technologies, as described in Section 3.
2. Data From Deployed Client Agents
Alithic collects and uses personal information in two capacities: for our own business purposes (operating this website, marketing, and sales — covered by this Policy), and as a processor handling data on behalf of clients whose agents interact with their own customers. Calls and messages handled by an agent built for a client fall into the second category and are explicitly out of scope for this Policy — that data belongs to the client and is governed by their own Service Agreement and their own privacy policy. If you interacted with an Alithic-built agent on another business’s phone line or website, that business is the data controller — contact them.
3. Cookies & Tracking
Essential — required for the site to function and for form submissions to work. Cannot be switched off.
Analytics — used to understand which pages get visited and where visitors come from, in aggregate.
Advertising — the Meta advertising pixel runs on this site. It sets cookies and tells Meta which pages you viewed, so ads can be measured and shown to you again elsewhere. To stop it, block third-party cookies in your browser or adjust your Meta ad preferences.
4. How We Use Information
To reply to enquiries and schedule calls, to prepare quotes and proposals, to operate and improve the site, and to keep business records required by law.
5. Third Parties
Information may be processed by service providers used to run the business: GoHighLevel (CRM and communications), Stripe (payments), QuickBooks (accounting), and Meta (advertising and ad measurement).
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Data Retention
Enquiry and client records are kept for as long as needed to run the engagement and to satisfy tax and legal record-keeping obligations. For deployed client agents specifically, retention of call recordings and transcripts is configurable per client — Alithic’s underlying platform supports retention windows from as short as one day up to two years, set according to what each client’s Service Agreement specifies.
7. Your Rights
Under PIPEDA, visitors in Canada can request access to the personal information held about them, ask for corrections, and withdraw consent to further contact. Email sales@alithicai.com and the request will be handled within the timeframe the law requires.
8. International Data Transfers
Some of the service providers listed in Section 5 store or process data outside Canada, including in the United States. By using this site, you consent to your information being processed in those jurisdictions, which may apply different data protection standards than Canada’s.
9. Security
Access to systems holding personal information is restricted and protected by authentication. No system is perfectly secure, and no absolute guarantee is offered — but data is not shared or stored more widely than the work requires.
10. Breach Notification
If a data breach occurs that creates a real risk of significant harm, affected individuals and, where required by law, the relevant privacy regulator, will be notified without undue delay.
11. Children’s Privacy
This site is not directed at anyone under 18, and information is not knowingly collected from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information, email sales@alithicai.com and it will be deleted.
12. Changes & Contact
This policy may be updated. The version on this page is the current one, and the date at the top reflects the last revision.
